According to the State Statistics Committee of Russia, in the January to November period of this year Russian production of iron ore concentrate went up by 0.9%, while output of iron ore pellets increased by 1.6% compared to the same period last year.

In addition, in November alone Russia produced 8.5 million tonne of iron ore concentrate and 3.2 million tonne of iron ore pellets, down 2.2% and 1.7% respectively compared to October this year.
