MIKO scooter is a very affordable scooter for consumers.Its small size allow you to move around the city or even on a campsite, it offers a simple, comfortable and fun ride with the electric drive motor. And this scooter does not required a plate, driver’s license or insurance to ride on road.


The bench is designed to fit all sizes, it allows you to board a second passenger, a backpack and even small commissions. MIKO scooter is powered by a 500w hub motor, and 4pcs 12v 12amp lead-acid battery, total 48v. The mas speed could be around 40km/h. And the pedal system is optional, you can ride it just like a bike when there is no power for the battery.


The front basket designed to carry a bag, or various supplies and even a small pet. The front and rear adjustable drum brake ensure a good safety and good control with the lever even in a high speed. For visibility, 2 intensity high-definition lights are installed in the front for optional illumination on the road. And the alarm system and a nice horn promotes the security of the scooter.

Q: How does an Electric Scooter work?

A: An electric scooter is an electric-powered vehicle that normally has 2 wheels. The scooter is build in a scooter frame with 3 main functional parts.

They are motor, just like the motor engine which drive the scooter to move. Its power and quality will determine a lot about the scooter’s performance, primarily its speed, its torque, its ability to climb hills and its range to a lesser extent.

Then battery, just like the heart of the scooter, storage electric power to power the motor. It can be charge and discharge for thousands times, it determine the max distance it can go on a single ride.

And controller, which works as a brain of the scooter. All the speed adjust, lights control information are collected and proceeded by that,and then give the orders to the parts.


The motor and the battery are connected through electric wires, all controlled by the screen and throttle on the handlebar. Their performance is managed by the rider through the controller component.

The rider issues commands on the screen, and through the throttle and brake levers or buttons. The screen is usually an LED screen right in the center of the handlebar, or a small circular screen on the right handlebar, and the throttle control is on the right. Some handlebars also have a brake lever on the left handle.

Some older scooter models have their motors placed in the deck and use chains and gears to turn the wheels. Most of the modern scooters are gearless and have the motors built right into the wheels. These are called hub motors. It’s quite common for the more powerful scooters to actually have two motors, one in each wheel.

The wheels themselves are an obvious part of the scooter. They come in two basic types – air-filled and solid. Some scooters will also have shock absorbers for a more comfortable ride. Either one or both wheels can have brakes. Brakes can be electronic, mechanical (with a disc or hydraulic), or activated by pressing the foot against the rear fender.All of these components are tightly integrated into a solid frame, usually made up of industrial grade aluminum alloy, or sometimes of carbon fiber. The frame can be visually divided into the stem, which is the front pipe-like part, and the deck, which is the surface on which the rider stands.
